Amber Pheasant is a multidisciplinary artist based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Currently studying a BA in Fine Art at Newcastle University, her work practice spans drawing, printmaking, and sculpture, combining contrasting materials such as metal and fine handmade papers.

Her work explores subtle shifts in detail, texture, and surface, allowing minute variations to move across both two- and three-dimensional forms. Through the interplay of opposing elements, such as light and shadow, night and day, organic and man-made, she creates layered and intricate compositions.

By bringing together conflicting materials and subject matter, her practice investigates tension, balance, and the relationships between natural and constructed environments.
